On March 21, 2023, Nikita Mazepin, the founder of We Compete As One foundation, was elected Chairman of the Sectoral Commission for the Development of the Sports Industry of the Association of Managers of Russia.
Association of Managers of Russia is a leading expert platform for the exchange of best professional practices and the formation of a community of top managers in the field of sports. It also unites the government sector with the businessmen of the sports sector.
The Foundation will be able to actively participate in the discussion of the most significant sports initiatives and defend the principles of equal opportunities for all athletes, thanks to the chairmanship of the Industry Commission. It will also allow the Foundation to provide more effective assistance to wards – high-level athletes who have been suspended from competitions for unsportsmanlike reasons.
